IT and communications systems are of key importance to our business. As an employee you are required to undertake the National Cyber Security course; Staying Safe Online: Top Tips for Staff.

By demonstrating your education and understanding of basic cyber security, you are helping in maintaining the Cyber Essentials certification, which is essential for us to maintain government contracts, such as BSL or Ready to Burn.

The training introduces why cyber security is important and how attacks happen, and then covers four key areas:

• Defending yourself against phishing
• Using strong passwords
• Securing your devices
• Reporting incidents (‘if in doubt, call it out’)

Completion of this course should take approximately 30 minutes, which does not need to be completed in one go. You can learn at your own pace, pausing and returning at times to suit you, with 24/7 access.

Upon successfully passing the online training course multiple choice assessment, you will be able to download your Certificate of Completion.
