Whether you are new to the industry or building on your existing knowledge this course is designed to provide you with the information required, for you to advise customers on appliance selection and a number of key issues including maintenance, carbon monoxide, government regulations and fuels.
Discussions will assist HETAS Registered Installers in conducting a thorough pre-installation survey, ensuring all details regarding appliance selection and chimney or flue configuration are confirmed effectively.
The HETAS scheme ensures that Approved Retailers have at least one HETAS trained member of staff on duty in the showroom at all times, to advise customers on appliances and a number of key issues including maintenance, carbon monoxide, government regulations and suitable fuels.
The course is designed to be interactive, consisting of text, images, videos, and activities, with full instructions provided throughout. Each topic must be completed before moving onto the next, although you may revisit a topic once completed. Throughout the course, there will be knowledge checks to help embed the learning; these do not count towards your end point assessment.

The end point assessment consists of twenty questions, and the pass mark is 100%.
