Display Screen Equipment Awareness
The use of display screen equipment (DSE), such as computers, has become common in the modern workplace. It is important that employees are aware of how to use a DSE workstation comfortably and with minimal risk to health and safety, especially those that are working from home or remotely.
The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992 as amended in 2002 places a duty on employers to protect employees from any risks associated with display screen equipment and to provide suitable training to all users.
It’s aimed at anyone who uses display screen equipment, as well as line managers with responsibility for such people.
